The protection of your health and my own is my top priority. Please read below for the precautions and policies I will be taking to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience during the pandemic. I ultimately want everyone to have a fun time photographing my favorite outdoor places so please let me know if you have any concerns. I will update any policies if new directives from the CDC or local governments occur.
Any time we are in close proximity masks will be required. This is usually not the case outdoors but will be strictly enforced if we need to go indoors. Please wear a mask to minimize the risk to others and yourself, refusing to do so will result in being asked to leave.
Private guiding clients and workshop participants will be required to drive their own vehicle. Carpooling with friends or family you came to the workshop with is at your discretion but will not be allowed amongst other participants. Due to the close nature of being in a vehicle I am unable to provide transportation during the pandemic. Please let me know what type of vehicle you have and what you feel comfortable driving as that will impact where we can go.
You will be required to fill out a pre-workshop affidavit that you don’t have COVID-19 or have had it within the past 30 days.
I won’t be touching your camera equipment or gear in the field but will use mine to demonstrate compositions and technique. We will all stay 6’ apart at all times. Please familiarize yourself with your camera menu system before arriving.
I won’t be offering in-person classroom instruction or editing during the pandemic but will offer remote web-based instruction if desired during or after the workshop.
If you are ill before or during the workshop I will give you a pro-rated credit to use for a future workshop or guiding session. If new stay-at-home orders require canceling the workshop you’ll receive a credit for the future date or another workshop.
Unfortunately I won’t be dining with participants during the pandemic. I really do enjoy taking you to some of my favorite mountain restaurants but that will have to wait for now. If you need suggestions of where to go please let me know!
